汪传馥,一九三四年生于江苏苏州。现为中国工艺美术学会会员,吴门画派研究会会员,苏州市书画研究会会员;高级工艺美术师。汪自幼随父学画,后拜乡人杨公毅为师,继私淑任伯年。一九六一年受北京画家曹克家指导乃涉猎动物画。主要作品∶《猫戏图》、《春酣》条屏四幅(江苏人民出版社),《樱花盛开》(中日美术交流展),《群猫花蝶》四条屏(古吴轩出版社),一九九〇年与苏州国画院院长张辛稼在台湾高雄举办花鸟画联展。代表作有长卷《百猫图》等,画界誉称:“江南猫王”。在国画界曾与唐云、程十发、刘旦宅、乔木、颜梅华、沈子丞、等老艺术家均有合作之作。作品《樱花盛开》参加中日美术交流大展,及多次在澳门丶苏州等地参展及举办个展。作品广为日本丶香港丶澳门丶新加坡丶台湾及东南亚等机构及私人藏家收藏。
